Rest Haven Christian Services Performance
November 3, 2006
Without A Prayer was honored to be selected as
the featured "Authentic Barbershop Quartet" to perform at the annual
fund raising event put on by Rest Haven Christian Services at the
Museum of Science and Industry. With over 1000 attendees, the
event took over the museum.
The quartet
opened the ceremonies as people took their seats in the museum
rotunda. The quartet performed a variety of Christian songs
including...
I'll Fly Away, Precious Lord, This Little Light /
Do Lord Medly and many more. There were several large screens
located throughout the rotunda displaying the quartet and various
speakers. To be continued...
We met several people who we know by association.
One of the fellas belonging to the Brotherhood of Harmony chapter
attended the event as did the lady in the picture to the right who
belongs to the Choral-Aires Chapter of
Sweet Adelines,
International. It's wonderful to have
brothers and sisters in harmony. Ya see 'em all over the
place.
Thanks to Rest Haven Christian
Services for allowing us to participate in our little way to a
wonderful evening at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
Thanks again to our moms and dads
for making us who and what we are and for giving us voices which
have the privilege of spreading the word of a capella vocal
harmony and, in turn, helping others to have wonderful events.
